The treatment

PRP · PRF · PRF gel

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a preparation of plasma — the liquid fraction of blood — in which the platelets, responsible for clotting, have been concentrated. This PRP is used as a source of growth factors, which play a leading role in the tissue regeneration process. This procedure is more recently known as the “Vampire Lift”.

100% natural rejuvenation

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injection is a natural rejuvenation treatment indicated for the face, décolletage and hands. By using your own plasma, it restores radiance, vitality and freshness to the skin.

Dr Jurdan also offers more advanced techniques: PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin), more concentrated than PRP, and PRF-gel (or PRF-albumin). PRF, richer in cells and growth factors, creates a fibrin network that prolongs and intensifies the regenerative action for about two weeks. It improves skin quality while providing a slight, natural volumising effect.

PRF-gel, obtained by modifying the viscosity of PRF, acts as a 100% natural filler, with no synthetic substances, while stimulating the production of collagen, elastin and cell regeneration.

How the procedure works

The first consultation is an opportunity to assess the patient's wishes and any contraindications, and to answer questions. A quote is drawn up based on the areas to be treated and photos are taken.

During the session, a blood sample is taken, the blood is centrifuged and the resulting plasma is then injected. For PRF-gel, the plasma is also heated before injection. An anaesthetic cream can be applied 30 minutes before the treatment.

The result is natural and lasts between 8 and 18 months. Depending on age and the concern being treated, one to three sessions may be needed, along with an annual top-up.

Plasma therapy

PRP can also be recommended for indications other than aesthetic ones. The platelets release growth factors and anti-inflammatory substances that trigger or accelerate the healing processes and stimulate cell growth.

It is used in particular for: treating joint conditions (osteoarthritis), injuries to tendons, muscles and ligaments (tendinitis, sports injuries) and wound healing.

Security

Biocompatibility

PRP, PRF and PRF-gel are biological materials derived from your own blood. Besides their perfect biocompatibility (no rejection, no allergy), they combine anti-infective and anti-inflammatory properties with regenerative potential.
