Clear, light legs.

Sclerotherapy
The treatment

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a non-surgical, minimally invasive medical procedure, the gold standard for fading spider veins and small visible leg veins. A sclerosing solution, liquid or in foam form, is introduced precisely into the vein concerned: it gradually closes, then fades naturally, for clearer, lighter legs.

Initial consultation

It all starts with a careful examination of your legs, often supplemented by a Doppler ultrasound. This mapping makes it possible to chart your venous network, identify the veins to be treated and fully personalise your protocol.

The injection

Using a very fine needle, the doctor places the sclerosing agent (liquid or foam) directly into the targeted vein. The inner wall reacts, the vein retracts then gradually closes: once closed, it is naturally absorbed by the body and is no longer visible.

Follow-up

The session requires no anaesthetic: you resume your activities without interruption. Wearing compression stockings or bandages is recommended in the days that follow. Results are progressive; several sessions may be proposed for an optimal, harmonious aesthetic result.
